Suzie is presently on a leave of absence from her PhD in political science at UVA where she was studying the impact of social media on political participation. She decided to join Social Media Today to get practical experience in social media strategy and implementation. Suzie is perhaps best known for her use of social media to mount a successful movement to reinstate UVA President Teresa Sullivan in June 2012.
